I was pretty excited because on my way to learning guitar with GuitarBots, I came to a section where the song was Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (or ABC's depending on how you look at it). My daughter was pretty excited, so I had my husband record her singing while I play. My skills are improving slowly, but I am getting more comfortable with the guitar. It's interesting to me that there is much more time spent on the finger picking than the chords, but I did recently finish a section with chords. I ended up buying a subscription to GuitarBots because it was moving to slow for me to have to wait for credits to build up. I've gotten through lot more since doing this. My fingers are also starting to hurt more again because of playing for longer and also the section with chords because that takes more pressure from the fingers.
I'm struggling with how the move between chords quickly enough, but in talking to other guitar players, this is something that will come with time and practice. I have given up on having to get perfect stars before moving onto the next lessons, because I realized that it was taking too long and I wanted to learn more skills and hopefully the timing and moving quickly will come as I learn the new skills.
